Amazing tea, lots of tea products, and delicious snacks. If you like tea I would highly recommend stopping by on your way to Kagawong. Beautifully decorated, friendly staff, and clean washrooms. The kids enjoyed lounging by the fire and eating their muffins. The covered porch offers a nice breeze and there is lots of seating. Definitely will stop in again.

I recently visited Bitter Sweet on Manitoulin Island and had a wonderful experience. The shop is a beautiful oasis with its charming decor and calming atmosphere. I was delighted by the unique selection of teas, from delicate white teas to bold black blends. The brownies were rich and decadent, the perfect complement to my tea. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making my visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Bitter Sweet for a relaxing and enjoyable experience

The selection of tea is amazing, and I'm so happy with the 3 that I chose. The atmosphere is so chill and beautiful, if we didn't have our dog with us, we would have had our tea inside, in front of the fire place! Lastly, the mugs....every time I saw one smart ass mug that I wanted, I'd turn around and see an even better one! XD Absolutely recommend!

It was a hot summer day, so we tried each of the two iced tea flavours of the day: Lemon Ginger, and Cream of Earl Grey. Added in a brownie and an apple crumble to go with them. Baked goods were fresh and high quality, but the apple crumble was out of this world! The apple mixture was unbelievably creamy. Lots of specialty loose leaf teas for sale in a number of different bag sizes, as well as a range of giftware. They even have tea samples in test tubes so you can smell the different flavours before buying. A really warm atmosphere and a nice place to sit. Both indoor and outdoor seating available

Really beautiful and serene place to sip tea and enjoy the natural view outside. Excellent tea variety. The inside is lovely, cozy, warm and welcoming. There’s an assortment of tea related goods inside as well as jams. If you’re looking for a remote and beautiful place to work, this is the spot! Or even a tea date with your bestie. The only thing I would change about this place is add soup, scones and panini sandwiches made from local goods. These things would go well with the jams and other goods in the shop. I highly recommend!
